The Digital Forensics & E-Discovery research group at Leiden University of Applied Sciences is proud to host the 15th edition of the E-Discovery Symposium on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. This year's theme is "From Application to Transformation: Language Models in Digital Forensic Investigation & E-Discovery".

Over the past year, advancements in generative AI and large language models have accelerated at an unprecedented pace. Following the successful 2024 edition, where we explored the practical applications of language models in digital forensic investigation and E-Discovery, this year we take the next step: how these models are transforming the way we discover, interpret, and leverage data.
2025 marks the beginning of a new phase. While last year’s discussions focused on how language models can be effectively applied, this year’s symposium will dive into the transformation of our processes, methodologies, and insights. By embracing these developments, we move towards even more powerful tools and techniques in forensic research, E-Discovery, and beyond.
